Fixes Inbound

I’m hoping to release a fix (v0.1.21) in time for the weekend. I wish I could say ‘hotfix’ on this occasion, but juggling other commitments, etc.

Improvements will include:
– better navigation outside of buildings for better flow (e.g. compass directions in the market area.
– fixed in-game phone which will no longer make navigation buttons vanish on occasion.
– different keybindings for moving forwards and backwards between passages to avoid conflicts with web browser shortcuts (i.e. if you want to undo an action or step then redo it).
-tweaks to character creation to make it easier to make slight adjustments to characters after checking them without having to input typed data all over again.
– other more minor bits and bobs updated to be less annoying.

Early development information on the next content update (v0.1.3) will be in a patron-only post.

In other news, I attempted to host the game online with a view to have a playable online version embedded in this website, but so far that particular host has it’s own save-game/restore code in place that conflicts with how my game’s JavaScript runs, thereby breaking the game. I will explore another option over the weekend.
